About Deirdre Donchian
Deirdre Donchian grew up in New York City. She came from an art appreciating family and had a strong creative start both in her school and in after school and evening classes as a teenager.
Deirdre graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and proceeded to conceive, manage, and run two gift shops in the seacoast area of Maine and New Hampshire. Deidre then developed many different lines of jewelry traveling to major trade shows and selling her work across the country and abroad.

Deirdre has maintained her affiliation with the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen one of the oldest craft associations in the country as well as keeping ties with the RISD community.
She lives in southern Maine with her husband, son, and daughter, a cat, fifteen laying hens, and a horse.
